I finally made it to The Open - The People's Exhibition at Leicester Museum and Art Gallery.
The exhibition opened last month and is an annual event featuring work from East Midlands residents.
The range and variety of work on show was outstanding and I spent a good time looking at the work and spotting pieces from many artists that I know.
I'm also grateful to have two pieces included in the show, Labyrinth and Jamani, and was able to go see them in person this week.
The show is on until 31st January so still some time to pop down and see it.
